Why Mold Is More Than a Surface Problem
Mold rarely shows up with a big warning sign. Often, it starts quietly. A musty odor that won’t go away. A dark spot near a baseboard. Paint bubbling in a bathroom that never quite dries out.
By the time mold is visible, it’s usually been growing for some time. Mold doesn’t stay where you can see it. It spreads behind walls, under flooring, and inside cabinets, especially in damp or poorly ventilated spaces. Left unchecked, it can damage building materials and affect indoor air quality.
How Our Mold Mitigation and Mold Removal Process Works
When we arrive, the first step is identifying the source of moisture. Removing mold without addressing the cause doesn’t solve the problem.
We inspect the affected areas, determine how far the mold has spread, and decide what materials need to be safely removed. When needed, mold containment is set up to prevent spores from spreading to other parts of the home. From there, contaminated materials are removed, surfaces are cleaned, and the area is treated to help prevent regrowth.
If repairs are needed afterward, such as drywall or trim replacement, we can handle that as well. Our goal is to leave the space clean, dry, and safe to use again.
